Pi Beta Phi was founded on April 28th, 1867 in Monmouth Illinois. Our 12 lovely founders aimed to form the first national women's fraternity. The Ohio Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi was founded at Ohio University in 1889. We proudly represent our 6 core values––integrity, lifelong commitment, honor and respect, philanthropic service to others, personal and intellectual growth, and sincere friendship. Our chapter strives for excellence through our academics, sisterhood, leadership and campus involvement.
